Crocs at the lake. These got to be the most nervous crocs I ever seen in Africa. I couldn't get more that 10M to them before they all disappear.

Crocs at the lake. It didn't matter how carefully I would sneak up to them. I guess the people here must hunt them regularly.

That's pretty much typical of all Ethiopian parks. There are always villager living in the park, and there are a great deal of hunting and grazing.

Ethiopia - Addis Ababa, Mar 8-22/2006

Ethiopia was probably one of my highlight of Africa. The country was hard and extremely frustrating at times. But you meet the craziest travelers here
